Helge ‘QBX’ Schneider is an electronica live act from Hamburg. During the pandemic, he spent lots of his time dreaming about lost places and transforming them into deep soundscapes in his small bedroom studio. For the newly founded La Ola Musik label he created the track “Antarctica”, which takes the listener into a downtime wide ice desert.

We are delighted to welcome @klouterss aka Jerome & Polo to the Hug Records family with a 7 track EP including remixes by @rblomusic, @guaraci_uirapuru & in this case Leipyzig based artist @huehuemusica .

As always we invite you to meet the human behind the music by asking them three questions, in this case answered by Jerome.

1) What is your favorite book to read? ->  It's not my favorite book, but it's one I feel compelled to share. It's "Solaris" by Stanislaw Lem. This book is a gem. It's metaphorical and profound about human thought and the beauty of the world. Some passages made me understand colors and senses that don't exist in everyday life, except maybe in a trip.

2) If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have? -> The power I would like to have as a superhero is not needing to sleep. Sleep represents one-third of our life; not needing sleep would allow for more time for oneself, passions, and maximum partying.

3) What's the longest you've gone without sleep (and why)? -> In relation to what was said before, I have already gone nearly 42 hours without sleeping. Why? Enthralled by the musical vibes and the excitement of a fantastic festival, there's simply no need for sleep. Those are the best moments of our lives.
