The Nusery's second release of 2018 is a solo release by the hands of JC Laurent, a talented Frenchman who's been putting out top notch techno for the better part of a decade. 

Over that course of time, JC has developed a mature sound which is demonstrated fiercely on the EP's first track Dissonances. While thunderous kickdrums are making way for phasing synthesis, even the littlest of drum patterns are enough to keep tension sky high without exception. 

This formula is maintained throughout the tracks that follow. Whether it's the slightly dreamier Groom Lake, the tight sequences of the title track Soaring Over or the eerie, outer space vibe in Surveillance Plane: neither of them comprises anything more than that which is strictly necessary. And that is what makes Soaring Over EP the stellar piece of work that it is, four powerful cuts that are just waiting to make heads turn.

Guy "Geezer" McAffer Has been instrumental in the birth and development of the underground acid techno sound that is unique to London. The year 2000 saw him establish his very own techno label R.A.W. (Ripe Analogue Waveforms) which acts as a platform for his releases.

I've produced a vast range of music over the years. Over 2500 records from numerous labels, travelled the four corners of the earth and played music from rock to techno, dub to punk.
Along with my own label Raw, I'm featured and have helped numerous record labels such as Stay up Forever, Cluster, Max min, Hydraulix, Top Shelf, 4X4, Smitten, Highwire, Powertools, Hazcem, TEC, Pounding Grooves, Routemaster, Tortured, CL Recordings, Jerk, Intensive, Bionic Orange and more... Ive played in many bands such as Back to the Planet and toured and played with R D F, Subhumans, Oasis, Blur, Nirvarna, Levellers, Rough Rough & Ready and Hawkwind to name a few ...

He currently works hard and collaborates with colleagues such as Liberators, Biri at Planet Techno and Ufo recordings, with Benji 303 at 303 alliance and with everyone else on the acid scene. Tours through Australia. South America and of course UK. He also has sets like Jah Scoop mixing his sounds with reagee. He is also part of the punk bands Dogshite and Back to the planet.
