After a string of releases that have steadily cemented his reputation in the underground techno scene, Dave Wincent makes a powerful return to Soma Records with a new offering that delves deeper than ever into his signature style: dark, hypnotic, and atmospherically charged techno.

The new release, titled “New Sequence” is a focused and refined statement of artistic intent. Forged in shadowy textures and built around propulsive, entrancing rhythms, the EP showcases Wincent’s ability to conjure immersive sonic environments that both captivate and command the dancefloor. Each track pulses with raw energy, weaving minimalist percussive frameworks with evolving synthscapes and a masterful control of space and tension.

Dave Wincent - New Sequence 02 [SOMA693D]

Polish profound techno maestro Blazej Malinowski debuts on our digital branch with an astonishing collection of tracks. His career spams across more than two decades and his productions have a trademark sound combining energy and punch with the melancholy of central Europe. For this extended player, Blazej Malinowski provides seven pieces starting with the dreamy but danceable Sonic Overpressure where the floating atmospheres and resonant bleeps create a carpet of layered sounds over a precise rhythm. Percussive elements add progressively to the equation creating the perfect tool for the beginning of a set. Focus continues the sound voyage in similar parameters, clear kick drum, evolving pads and pulsating synths that soon become busier and trancier somehow, bringing a nineties old school flavour to the song.  On Understatement a synthesized bassline sets the pace for what comes next, delivering the right dose of hypnosis from the very first bar, the rest of the sonic elements come in slowly, special mention to the crying 303 motif that runs all over the arrangement. Drone comes next, but it is not what you expect from the title, the groove is intense here, but melancholy is the main curse with dreamy synth pads and didgeridoo like sequences bringing the elements necessary to float in a proper dancefloor. It was Real changes directions and goes into the scifi realm, combining a relentless bassline with asymmetric bleeps all provided in a constantly evolving arrangement. The soundtrack of spaceships into an absorbing black hole. Number six is Blind Expression, switching from abstraction to proper trance with elastic phased sequences, continuous synth layers and one more mote a super skilled and intricate arrangement bringing every element on the right spot. A mindbending experience not everyone can deliver this way. Closing the release things go gummy and elastic with Unforgiving, a proper dj tool made of resonant sounds and FM textures plus mental hi frequency details to mutate any dancefloor into a sonic church. On these days of clones of clones it is an absolute pleasure to have such a good sound designer onboard.

The Novosibirsk artist turns the universe into a personal travel diary: each track is a station on an uncharted orbit, each sound a distant system’s reflection — barely tangible, yet strikingly alive.

::: Sonar Ping to Your Soul opens the EP like the first impulse of an interstellar radar cutting through layers of inner silence and resonating directly in the heart chamber. It’s not just a ping — it’s an invitation to fly, a encrypted “we're connected” signal wrapped in deep echoes and soft bass vibrations.
::: Shades Of Stars is a map of stellar light where dozens of invisible hues merge into a shimmering pattern. Here, stars don’t burn — they whisper, refracting through filters and delay, as if trying to tell a story about a distant cold where life still pulses quietly.
::: Another Kepler-Planet transports the listener to a world absent from astronomers’ catalogs but alive in the imagination of Castle From Indistinct Dreams.
