Stephen has been one of the most prolific techno producers out of the United States in 2020, churning out a string of quality releases on labels such Planet Rhythm, Liberta Records, Say What, Trau-ma and many more. A multi-faceted producer and DJ, Stephen’s techno sounds takes dancers from the deep and hypnotic realm of the genre to the high-octane driving and peak-time hours.

ONI Recordings label head Danny Wabbit's sound is renowned by his fast paced grooves, hypnotic rhythms and his murky minimalistic atmosphere, whether in his performances or productions Danny encapsulates the "groove" Danny’s pursuit of spreading the hypnotic movement in his local scene has gained him residency in the expanding hypnotic community CÉRÉMONIE.

The groove is apparent in this collaboration between the two entitled "Pulse" off the upcoming As One EP on Planet Rhythm.

Our 73rd release is upon us and we welcome back Gem label boss Secret Cinema’s latest collaborative effort with non-other than Dutch techno maestro, Egbert.
 
Opening things up, ‘Vortex’ takes us on a relentless four-to-the floor twisting journey through eerie soundscapes and rave-like synth stabs. Pulling our attention in through finely tuned details and powerful subs. Next up, ‘Random 47’ takes us on a thrilling ride with multiple layers of beautifully crafted synth work and a thumping kick drum that sends an electrifying current through our senses. Lastly, Secret Cinema calls on newcomers, Amata to take ‘Vortex’ on a deeper narrative. Focused primarily on groove and dream-like pads which float over delicate drums. Epsilon” is the fifth Various Artists collection from Turin based techno label Genau Recordings. This release is focused on the techno sound from the North-Western Italian town, as all artist, except for Ambre Nuit, are actually living there. Six techno tracks mixing together acid, raw, dreamy and trance influences. The Ep starts with a powerful track from Genau Recordings managers Exilles, followed by Sevens Sins (another Turin based duo) label’s debut track “Iridium”. Then, Ambre Nuit returns on GR with her “dreamy and trancey” techno track “Abuse”, followed by Sticky Ground’s boss Küetzal and his raw and pounding “Unexact”. Young talent Vincenzo Iacono aka VI is also debuting on our VA series with his fierce “Space Invasion”, while the closing track of the Ep is the powerful “Grave” from Distorted Planet duo.

The time has come for NINULANC, the latest EP from the Colombian duo Bimol.
In the Kogüi cosmogony NINULANC symbolizes one of the nine planes of the universe. The Bimol NINULANC is a return to the roots. An homage to that magnanimous sound of the jungle that is strengthened this time by the wind of the “gaita” of Paito, a member of Los Gaiteros de San Jacinto and who has contributed a dash of that Caribbean minstrel magic in this work, Confidential Recipe and Jauri come in to contribute their sonic beats for revolutionary music lovers.

In the words of BIMOL themselves, NINULANC is an instinctive musical response to the social situation that Colombia is going through.

The NINULANC dimension opens with AGALLAS the combination between Bimol and Jauri brings the percussion and falling drops that the rivers claim, ode to the spiritual world of these artists. FRAGMENTO EN LA is a shamanic trance of impulsive beats that contrast with a melancholic sound and powerful lyrics. The next stop is NINULANC, a hypnotic journey that celebrates the techno sound orchestrated by soft vocals tangled between Paito’s gaita. TRY TO BE HERE, the collaboration between Bimol and Confidential Recipe, powerful and magnetic rhythms. A track designed for the dancefloor, orchestrated with vocals that invite energetic dance inspired by the raw sounds of classic techno, CANTO DE LA LIBELULA, an eccentric breakbeat poem. Atmospheric sound of consistent vowels that evoke the rite of dance and communion with the roots.
