Ben Klock introduces Greek-raised, Moscow-based artist Stef Mendesidis for the next Klockworks release. On A side we find Self Refelktion Boss Stranger in an acidic distorted exercise, injecting on “Motief” the perfect balance between pounding techno beats a la 90's Axis release and Woody McBride 303 loops and a little " je ne sais quoi " to make you jump on the Dancefloor. On the flipside, ROD mastermind fates the heavy artillery with “Shut Up And Dance”, a nod to the now defunct and eponymous mythic Rave London label. Distorted yet irresistible electro techno tones characterize this pure Ravey anthem calibered for spacious warehouse with a generous sound system.
