Myles Mac has been adding colour to Melbourne’s electronic music scene for over a decade now. His presence is felt across a number of seminal productions: from the Lost Weekend parties at Boney – where a few of Waxflower’s own shared late nights and sweaty mornings – to his pairing with DJ Camov and the formation of Project 95 and, of course, the world renowned Melbourne Deepcast label and mix series responsible for showcasing local and international artists. Myles stands out from the crowd as a consummate curator of feel good times.

Big Mac played amazing mixes for us at Waxflower throughout his residency. This one provides a glimpse into his exceptional taste, sleuthing between jazzy vibes and street soul and hip hop. No doubt if we locked the doors and begged him to keep playing we would have ended up deep in Mac’s first love: house. Shifting gears and pleasing ears – that’s Myles Mac.

Valentin, who is the brain behind the new "Baile de Mainman" channel is taking care for the newest SOW edition with music ranging from AOR/ Prog- and Folk Rock into New Wave, Italo-Disco and other cosmic 70s/80s treasures.

The multilingual (mainly) Euro sound promises an irrepressible desire for freedom paired with a wild longing for togetherness. It immediately lets you drift off onto a sunny coastal road along the mediterranean sea, surrounded by loud radio and fresh air…

And in the best case, ending with the 114min, you will step out in an optimistic and hopeful mood!

I found an old iPod a couple of days ago and on top of a ton of old mixes and tracks I found this set I put together for the @balearicsocial crew up in Leeds in 2012. That's 13 years ago! I don't think this one's online anymore, so here it is once again, freshly transferred from the depths of arcane technology. 

It goes all over the place: Ambient, tribal, soul, downtempo, left-field, kosmiche, jazz and into very loose territory! I really enjoyed hearing these records again, and I hope you dig it too. Big shout to Andy Pye and all the Yorkshire Balearic ultras!

The Detroit dreamboat aka Cruce Grammatico delivers close to two hours of immaculate selects, including a forthcoming cut from PT002 via our homies @symptomsoflove ~ Find it for a virtual hug from us and them.  

In between turning out parties in the state of Michigan, he runs an amazing channel on the tube, hips us to mega jams every other day of the week, accepts packages as our US postal address and was the link to making PT002 our next record dropping in early Jan a reality. Endless respect and love for the G that is Cruce.
