J.A.Z. is literal god mode DJ and selector, and the mixes match the status

Globetrotters, time travelers, fun seekers, vinyl diggers, dance lovers… Many are the types of beings that thrive in this sonic culture of ours, finding shelter and happiness in this sensorial and emotional universe fostered by musical communion. And the creatures therein are more than just characters, they comprise the fauna and flora of these aural environments in which we dwell and revel, sustaining it with both their projects and their passion. Take the magnificent French trio known as Bayetë for example, an autonomous ecosystem of discovery and debauchery that strives to create the perfect conditions for our enjoyment of the treasures they find in their excursions across the world. A noble purpose that is so powerful that it does not solely rely on the collective's togetherness to exist, each of its members carry that same seminal drive in everything they do individually. Something we can perfectly perceive in this episode of Gop Cast where Simon, one of its members who recently relocated to São Paulo, manages to encapsulate the eclectic excellence of their musical abundance in a stellar mix of moods, grooves and everything in between.

A very prolific digger & edit maker who has appeared on a few labels such as Passport to Paradise and Pinchy & Friends amongst others.

His musical universe is one not to miss, he dug up some of the most obscure 80s cuts and made them accessible and DJ friendly for all.

Mix of the Week #423: Ritmo Tempo - This Heat

For the thirteenth installment of our increasingly sporadic mix series, we've invited London’s mighty producer, DJ, and designer duo @good-block. They have recently self-released their second EP - ‘Aquaculture' following their debut '4 Corners EP’. Their third release is due out later this summer, and if you listen closely you can find a new bit tucked away in this excellent, genre-bending mix they've prepared for us.
