Rezidence 34 - Sunrise

A bittersweet Rezidence after the loss of a dear friend to suicide.   I tried to choose songs I thought spoke both to my feelings and maybe to what he was experiencing.  In the middle of my set, right after mixing in a new track about questioning one’s strength, someone came up from behind, wrapped their arms around me and started crying. This set was created using 5 decks on Ableton, an APC40 Controller & a LaunchKey MIDI keyboard (with 3 channels of overdubs), and as such it's as much about on-the-fly live performance as it is about straight-up DJ'ing.
