I found their artwork through a talented artist/producer which I’m excited to later announce on the series. 

Inspiration was also taken from my recent walks up towards Canada Coombe, so nice to see the place fall into the colours of spring.

Next up joining us on the series is the talented Detroit based artist/producer. Their recent release on warm winters has easily become a plant favourite and is like no other. 

This mix is a nostalgic adventure of sounds, a story with a hopeful narrative, containing the tones of beautiful instrumentals and angelic vocals throughout.

Worth a listen if you’re very much into the likes of ulla, goo age, ultrafog, and sleepdial.

"The idea of making the mix dense, like a gem, kept recurring to me. A compact sense of sounds that are ephemeral, fleeting, and somewhat dreamlike, all entangled into one.

Next up on the series is a name we’ve been following for sometime and we feel incredibly honoured to have them on, the NY based producer jung dj⭐️. Their beautiful self releases leave you finding yourself always curious towards their methods of production. 

In this mix jung dj spoils us with a lovely hand picked selection giving us a stunning lullaby of sounds. The warm, shimmering melodies throughout give us a personal sense of what they represent.  

“Ideally this mix could serve as a playful challenge to the idea of “serious” experimental music. As if to convey a rejection of the purely cerebral approach (or work that is at the expense of the visceral). For me, music is at its best when the two go hand-in-hand-- though I’m ultimately most interested in what feels good on a cellular level. So, let's just say this mix serves as a gentle reminder for me to trust my instincts. And maybe it'll do the same for others... you never know.”

Next in line for the plant series, presenting the berlin based producer, Glint 🧚🏼‍♂️. They have been at the forefront of the contemporary ambient scene, with beautiful tracks such as ‘ I’ve seen you before’ and ‘2 times too’, also showcasing their sound on a recent mix for ‘expired’.

Glint takes a unique approach inviting the listener to travel through intervals of time, intimately focusing on sentimentality and location using a collage of field recordings and Interludes of different sounds that shine through.

We’re very excited to announce the next artist on the series, goo⭐️ (formerly known as goo age).

The elusive producer has a very unique style and sound that puts them in a league of their own. Their consistent beautiful releases has made them everyone’s favourite, notably tracks “aerolace & the shine of winter” and “leafplace - live sept.21(fall vibes)” hitting levels of nostalgia in ways only goo can.

Next up on the plant series were excited to welcome the Bristol artist/producer s.drift. Throughout the city you may find their art hidden in the urban landscape. s.drift’s productions and mixes capitulate just that, they emulate the perception of night walking in and amongst the underpasses and streets of Bristol through dark ambient soundscapes and textures.

“This mix serves to capture my love of aimless night walks around the city, slipping through various urban biomes and getting lost in the quiet rhythm of the night.

 We’re met with gorgeous tones of rhythm and blues glistening amongst the walls , whilst different instrumentals warmly fill the rooms with their unique style and blends.

The wait is over and we’re excited to finally announce our next guest on the series, none other than ‘J’ representing themselves as their alias ‘J and the woolen stars’⭐️. 

In this mix we’re pleasantly met with singer song writer vocals woven soothingly along side different notes of acoustic guitars and piano.🌱
 
Last year they launched a label/ publishing platform called se Dessaisir Publishing with their recent release showcasing the collaborated sounds of Natalia Panzer and Theodore C Schafer. 

Their release on daisart(rip🤍) ‘personal problems’ is one at plant we always find ourselves coming back too, especially the timeless melody of ‘ feeling worse about the same’. We have also been spoilt with the sounds of their upcoming EP 'Little Lock'.

It’s a pleasure to announce our next guest, santebela, representing themselves as their alias rec⭐️🌱

Their take on this mix plays around the concept of rain and solitude. We are blessed with angelic vocals accompanied by delicate,  sad yet hopeful soundscapes.

This next guest is one we’ve been listening to a lot , the Portuguese artist, Villa Redhead⭐️

They recently featured on Nina and Madjestic Kasual with their two art dream pop tracks ‘getting by, in my head’. If you find yourself listening through their catalogue of music , you will only realise what a huge talent they are, notably mentioning releases ‘cocoon’ and ‘120 μs’ exhibiting forever giving shoegaze, ambient ,bedroom pop sounds.🌱
