Beyond Beyond - Once Upon A Time

40 years ago, on this very day, "Pinchcliffe Grand Prix" opened in Norwegian theatres. ("Flåklypa Grand Prix" in Norwegian and "Bjerkøbing Grand Prix" in Danish).
It soon became a national hit and sold more than 5,5 million tickets (mind you, only 4 million people lived in Norway at the time).
The succes of the film spread worldwide, and one of the movie's many wonderful assets is the score by Danish composer Bent Fabricius-Bjerre.

The main theme from the film "Norwegian Sunset" has reached status of folk-song in Norway, but incredibly the music has never been released!
… until now.

PlantSounds is extremely proud to announce the premiere release - the 40th anniversary edition - of this magnificent music. The original score for Pinchcliffe Grand Prix.

It has remained one of the few holy grails within European film music, and finally it will be available for everyone to enjoy.

The release date will be in December 2015, and the album will include the complete score, unused tracks and variations not heard in the film.

It will be available on a limited deluxe CD and as digital download.
