The Capetonian producer Dopplershift is back to 4NC¥ //DarkMode with some 140 madness. It is easy to say that this is the heaviest and darkest release on the label yet, it brings a certain level of insanity to the table, turning everything upside down. ‘Pull Up’ makes us feel like we didn’t know the definition of distortion before, it is shadowy as it gets, with a big metallic snare drum to keep us hypnotized and a bassline so evil it makes it difficult not to love this tune

‘Pull Up’ will be part of the ‘BLVCK WAVES EP’ which will be out on April 27

Just as the sun finally arrives, so does the long awaited Dub Fx - ‘Theory of Harmony: Remixes’ album on Audioporn Records, featuring reworks of Dub Fx’s hit album by some of bass music’s biggest names, including Krafty Kuts, Xilent, Gaudi, BCee & Villem, Shimon, High Maintenance, Makoto, Spoonbill, Dreadzone, Random Movement, Dilemn, James Marvel & Hypoxia, Champion, and many more.

‘Theory of Harmony: Remixes’ LP covers all bases, from killer-dance floor bangers to smooth summer rollers, Dub Fx’s soulful vocals combine perfectly with some of bass music’s biggest and brightest talents. Opening with emotive pads and sinister growls, the intro for Suffer in Silence gains momentum through techno-esque atmospherics and powerful melodies. The intricate drum pattern and dance-floor keys are pleasantly surprising and equally energizing. This momentum is maintained throughout the track. Lockjaw shows off his diversity and technical capabilities, with subtle switches and hooks invigorating the track making every phrase unique.
