Croydon's Chris Reed AKA Plastician is the main man behind the brilliantly experimental bass label Terrorhythm, which has so far released tracks from Joker, Stinkahbell, Macabre Unit and Chrissy Cris. Crossing the boundaries of bass, Plastician is known for his ability to blend everything from hip hop to techno to experimental beats and bass music, but all the while representing a UK tinge to his set selection. After 2 years of free music, it only felt right that RAW Records' first distributed release came from its owners @thomas-white & @dearlola. Starting off with 2 collaborations that are "BB" and "I Know", the familiar elements are immediatly recognizable from their latest work. The pair weaves drum breaks, sub lines, and vocals (provided by Dear Lola) with their usual attention for details in a truly genre bending, almost jazzy approach to club music where the sharpness of machine drums is drowned in a rich palette of textures and organic percussions. Following this collaborative journey is Dear Lola's solo contribution to the release, the dark and brooding "Trippin", which he wrote and performed the vocals for, the result being this near-interlude that invites the listeners to smoke one up... Or two. Closing the originals chapter is Thomas with his own solo creation, the emotional "Give You Up", truly showcasing his mastery of drum breaks with one of the freshest selection of samples, completed with a bassline that simply cannot hold its place for more than a second and a very sharply auto-tuned and tearful vocal.
With some amazing remixes from @dave-luxe, @deadhorsebeats, @principal-dean and @simpig covering a wider spectrum of bass music and giving new life to the originals.

The sonic outcome of Gábor Tokár's alterego Ficture is a collage of various sound sources, ranging from field recordings to analog synthesizers while keeping in mind that literally everything around us can be a potential part of music. Sound manipulation and resampling of self-recorded audio had a big role on Tokár's debut “Roads To Everywhere” released on Lemongrassmusic in 2014, Sound Color Vibration described the EP as being “as soothing as it is intriguing”, while Funkadelphia called it “meticulously electronic, yet strikingly organic”. Tokár's other works include various cooperations as a session musician for bands, being a music producer and sound designer of different art projects, animations and collaborations in a wide range of styles.

Gabor made a very short stop in the city of Gent and finally we found  the perfect occasion to invite him to contribute for our weekly Sunday evening radio show.  What you hear in the next hour is a gentle downtempo mixtape, sounding like velvet to your ears.  
Notice a few of his brand new released tracks like 'Drowner' and 'Portable'.

Chris Reed, also known as Plastician (formerly Plasticman), is a Producer / DJ from Thornton Heath in the London Borough of Croydon.

Plastician is unique in that he is respected as one of the true pioneers of both the Dubstep, Grime and most recently Wave genres. 

Always reputed for selecting from a broad range of bass heavy styles and seeking out the genres that emerge from between established scenes.

He plays a monthly radio show on Rinse FM, where he has been credited for breaking many artists and collectives on his show, some artists who had their first plays on his shows include Joker, Om Unit, Klasey Jones, Mura Masa and countless more.

In 2006 he spent 18 months on BBC Radio 1, making him the world's first DJ to have a specialist dubstep and grime radio show on national radio.
