Much as ImpulseGame's original, this remix is inspired by H. P. Lovecraft, and uses samples from the 1998 television film "Out of Mind: The Stories of H. P. Lovecraft", in which Lovecraft was portrayed by the great Canadian actor Christopher Heyerdahl.

Additionally, in this remix I drew inspiration from the soundtrack for the 1996 video game Quake, which itself is influenced by Lovecraftian themes. Also, I was inspired by other miscellaneous compositions by Nine Inch Nails and the somewhat controvercial German Metal band Boehse Onkelz.
