I've been on that road many times before, and it only leads to many nights of mourning.
At a certain point you have to overcome your past. Your ego. Your pride, whatever you want to call it.  At some point you have to stop obsessing over yourself. At some point you have to make peace with yourself and pick up all the little pieces. We can't take anything with us when we die, not even our bodies. Life is far too short to be going in circles, to replay the mistakes of your past. We who live now in the present stand before an uncertain, but wide open future. At some point, each man and woman must either choose to slowly sink into the madness or rise above it all--to stand firm when they have every right to buckle and fall. Courage to those who choose to set aside themselves and rise.  Courage to those who are in the process of making that decision. Let's be filled with hope, with grit, and with :\\ resolution.
