Sylvion Gaddum born and raised in Amsterdam been into some kind of music his whole life. It all started at an early age when it was easier to quit crying when music was put on. 

Sylvions DJ sets are far from standard and he uses different kind of styles. The same kind of music in one set, he finds boring. His style with Underground Groovy Minimal Deep, Funky, Latin, Tech and Afro House has been massively embraced by a large crowd.

I got the honour to meet J Paul Getto in Amsterdam at ADE last year, I also got the chance to listen to a fantastic set by him.
Not just a amazing DJ Mr Getto also released lots of lovely tunes like Move Me, The Devil´s Hand and one of my personal favourites Different Folks!

Feel Love Friday with Christian Woodyatt (and guest Sophie Lloyd) | 16th May 2025

Horsebox resident Plastic Royale (aka Tompa Minas) took the reins this week, broadcasting live from his studio in Sweden. He kicked things off with some of the funkiest disco grooves to ever hit the digital airwaves, gradually building into an uplifting house vibe by the end of his hour.

The second half of the show featured Dutch legend Lenzz, a gifted DJ from Rotterdam, passionate record collector, and fellow radio show host. His own show, Lenzzie’s New Grooves, airs every Monday from 7pm to 9pm UK time on NDC Radio.

Lenzz delivered an eclectic set packed with jazzy, funky, tribal, and housey vibes—taking us on a rich and rhythmic musical journey.

Plastic Royale A.K.A. Tompa Minus who is born and raised in Stockholm Sweden, finds the inspiration in deep house and classic house music but he doesn’t really like placing his music in compartments. If there is a groove then there´s a groove. 

Over the years, Plastic Royale has released a number of house songs with everything from instrumental to vocal house songs. With Chicago 86, he was inspired by the classic old sch
ool house sound that was born in Chicago in the mid-80s.
With PARIS 62 (Plastic Royale's most played song) he takes you into the wonderful world of French dance music (you must listen to it).

The collaboration with Ashley Slater has resulted in a couple of really groovy and bassy vocal house songs.

His interest for music has been there for as long as he can remember. From sneaking into his older brothers room at a young age to play vinyl to spending his first hard earned money on a Technics 1210 turntable. The first records he bought were mostly funk and soul and the love for the genres has followed him ever since. Another big influence in Tompas  life was the bootleg records called  Swemix, that lead him into the world om mixing and DJing.
