DANÊL releases catchy new single featuring the lyrics of Marco Tamimi, out on the 24th February via Generation Smash.

Two Strangers is a tune transcending that of just the EDM realm; by incorporating melodic piano along with Marco Tamimi’s signature emotive lyrics, this electro-pop song will spark the interest in everyone. The track is packed with energy, never slacking on it’s punchy beat and orchestral synths. The versatility of ‘Two Strangers’ allows for appreciation through headphones, to festival-sized speakers. 

The 22-year old Finnish producer DANÊL is not one to miss. Having begun his love for music at a young age after drumming in a band, he soon fell in love with electronic music. At only 22, he has been producing for over 8 years, and has already released numerous singles, many with established imprints such as Spinnin Records and Revealed Recordings, now with Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike’s Smash the House sublabel, Generation Smash. DANÊL’s 2022 release ‘Nothing At All’ has already racked up hundreds of thousands of streams on Spotify, a small indicator of his success to come. 

The London-based singer and songwriter Marco Tamimi, is quickly rising through the ranks. Known for his signature sad lyrics, he adds his touch of emotion into the track. Tamimi is becoming an established name in the pop scene, his song ‘Different Eyes’ hitting over 7 Million streams on Spotify. This collaboration is not one to sleep on.

It’s time for a FUNK phenomena! For over two decades Rafael Ximenez and Mikio Gruschinske have each worked their way up the DJ Community and electronic music industry ladder. The duo met in 2002 at a club in Cologne, Germany where Gruschinske was a resident and Ximenez was booked as a guest. Shortly thereafter they realized their musical tastes and styles fit together and a brotherhood was born. Not long after they formed PLASTIK FUNK. The duo would go on to be known the quintessential music producers for some of dances more standout sounds; an updated version of Hip-House reinvented for the new EDM world. 

Over the years they have sparked the interest of fellow DJs with their releases. Like their collaboration ‘Who’ with Tujamo which became a worldwide hit; played by the likes of Tiesto, Steve Angello, Nicky Romero and Afrojack. Since its success Plastik Funk has consistently gained peak positions on the international dance and Beatport charts. Their most popular release "Dr.Who! (Original Mix), cracked the top 20 on the overall UK singles chart. 

Plastik Funk's touring schedule has led them from Brazil to Korea and everywhere in between. Summer 2014 was a record breaking season playing for Tomorrowland, Pacha NYC, Castle Chicago, a full Asia Tour and landing a residency at NeonSplash at Privilege in Ibiza. All apexed with a personal invite from global superstar, Avicii to play at the world famous Ushuaia in Ibiza as part of his Sunday night residency. 

Their latest release is going to be a collab with their homies from Slovenia Vanillaz and Kosta Radman, released through Flamingo Records, already being premiered by #hardwell on his radioshow: Hardwell on air.
