The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Minuit Machine. One of our favorite duo's returns for the new EP, Basic Needs, on French label warriorecords. Today we premiere the title track which finds the pair in top form, fusing their infectious synths, dark waves and alluring vocals for a jaded yet playful piece which lingers in your mind long after. The EP features two other great tracks, including "Sisters", rallying call for women and "Vanity" a cold, more EBM leaning dance floor weapon.

This one has a similar vibe to Villain Arc and the like. But moar sleepy-like. I actually like this one alot, the vibe seems to hit me just right. Also my sleep schedule has been basically non-existent while I've been finishing this up for the upload so that's been oddly fitting for a ~2 year old album. Also also been researching sleep and insomnia and other sleep disorders alot and I gotta say..... Goddammit I think I made myself depressed by not sleeping enough for the entirety of my childhood cuuuuuz that can affect ur neurochemical balance relatively permanently after it becomes chronic. So uhhh ye, sleep. AND MAKE SURE U GET REM SLEEP OR IT DOESN'T COUNT. According to my body at least.

Giant Swan are debuting on Mannequin Records through the Death of the Machines serie, the dancefloor/experimental oriented side of the label, dedicated to new artists.

Robin Stewart & Harry Wright team up to create an acerbic marriage of energised, aggressive dance music, quaking bass and hypnotic electronic noise. Across a table of machines and pedals, incorporating abused guitar and liberal vocal manipulation, Giant Swan create a cross-breed of hypnotic bass, industrial percussion and disorientating energy delivered with telepathic intricacy.
