This album was born from a restlessness, a deep need to trace the roots of the sound that's always lived inside me. After six years shaping my craft in London's grey embrace, I knew I had to follow the river back to its source. So I set out from St. Louis, guitar on my back, heart wide open. Memphis poured its gritty soul into me on Beale Street. Nashville showed me the craft, the stories spun in three chords and the truth.

And then... New Orleans. Bourbon Street. The humid air thick with history, the brass bands echoing off ancient bricks, the raw, unfiltered lifeblood of the blues right there on the sidewalk. From London to Bourbon Street is that pilgrimage captured in sound. It's the echo of the Thames meeting the Mississippi, the lessons of London filtered through the dusty roads, smoky juke joints, and triumphant parades I found travelling South.

This album is my musical bloodline laid bare. It’s the journey home to the sound that started it all, and the transformation it sparked along the way. Listen close – you can hear the miles, the stories, and the whiskey-soaked truth in every note. I went searching for the roots, and found a whole new part of myself. This is that sound. Still soaking it in.
