PLTM014 is our first EP this year, a split EP between Label Owner FLAWS and Underground Minneapolis based prodigy Lonefront

Lonefront featured on ‘Formed Ethics’ with his track ‘Carnivalesque’ back in February earlier this year, Since then he has been on a momentous journey developing his craft, especially his drifting live sets, Recently playing at Reform Curated by DVS1 in Los Angeles. Ross (His real name) embodies an incredibly compassionate approach towards music, focusing on his niche of rhythm and flowing synthesis, his sound can be easily identified as the name that is Lonefront.

With this being FLAWS’s Second EP this year it is a special one for him pairing up with Lonefront on his home label. FLAWS has been observant and productive in this timezone, reforming his sound and vision as he enters the new period of Electronic Music. Constantly on the search for knowledge and light, it leads him to many exciting projects, some to be announced later this year.

This year it’s a honour that we welcome two pioneers to our community, First we welcome Jeroen Search, one of techno’s most inspirational pioneers, A true intellect, someone who has been a clear notable figure since the Mid 90’s in his own majestic way. He provides us with ‘Revised Config’ a stripped back head nodder, delicate pulsing tones, high end finesse all with a masterful storyline. 5th Dimension, a mere reference to an alternative reality, a constant evolving pulse runs through this one, sharp grounding percussion with a clear everywhere and nowhere feel. Classic Search! 

Arthur Robert, someone who has set the mark over these last years with masterful releases, a true inspiration presenting the very depth of his soul with sonic language. He presents ‘Heartbreak’, A Heads down soul searcher with fine attention, distinctive melody with a clear context, set with  luring mysterious sweeping percussion. ‘Kinship’ is the second, a clear reflector on the dancefloor, High momentum progressions with crystal clear precision and rooting balance all with the sense of a destination in sight.

PLTM016 ‘Metaphysics‘ by Biri and Rhythm Assembler 

We are very excited to welcome two dear inspirations to our community.

First, Biri. Born in Israel, he is a musical genius with deep roots and a clear vision. His opening track, ‘Platonism’, is a majestic soul shaker intended to put you into a deep state of introspection. Delicate tones and emotional chords run throughout, guided by a meditative Vocoder. Biri’s second track, ‘Ontological Naturalism’, is a peak-time hazy mover packed with intelligent percussive work. Its atmospheric sequence produces vivid moments of clarity.

Next, Rhythm Assembler (aka MTD). Well known for his dedication and consistency throughout the years, he needs no introduction. His first track, ‘Locker’, is bound to create some sparks with pulsating rhythms, slick percussion, and eerie tones… this track is a moving entity. The final track, ‘Till The End’, creates a transcendental experience that fuels the sense of wonder.
A mysterious pad is present throughout, complimenting the pitched sequence, and the percussion guides the story further. This is the sound of Metaphysics.

Platform 22 is back.

We are so pleased to open the label again for a new era of music.  

We are proud to present ‘PLTM017’ ‘Selective Consciousness’ 
A 6 track EP by Minneapolis based pioneer, Autokinetic and Label curator FLAWS. 

The fusion and meeting between the two came on FLAWS recent summer tour in the US with folks Lonefront and Decoder, FLAWS caught Autokinetics live set at The Great Beyond on a hazy sunset, the ‘vibes were perfect’ in his eyes. 

They got together towards the end of the tour at Autokinetics place in Minneapolis with Autokinetic setting up his legendary synth collection and the Trio being, Autokinetic, FLAWS and Lonefront jamming for hours. 

When getting back home to the UK, FLAWS was touched by the whole experience and reached back out to fellow folks of the tour, this has created the path to the Split EP you are listening to now.
