This podcast is an actual live recording from a gig at Tag in Chengdu, China. @thetruemcmlxxxv says, "The selection is very intuitive as I did not know that the set would be recorded. Which I actually prefer as it kept me playing really just what I liked without having to worry too much about whether I played a track already in a mix. Long story short: this set is pretty much me at the moment. Relentless body. I had the most amazing time playing it and I will always look back at this night in awe. Chinese promoters and club owners face really tough times at the moment imposed on them by the government, especially when the LGBTQIA community is targeted by the police. Hope this one carries their message a bit further."

It was an amazing feeling to play music in a club setting again, but the lack of crowd feedback made me yearn for better times even more. As part of the KopjeK x OVDN stream on the Goodbye2020 platform I performed a special NYE midnight party set at the Stadsschouwburg in Groningen, NL, a beautiful classical venue with three layers of balconies. The 1,5 hour set filled with my favourite peak time bangers was streamed at exactly 00.00 on NYE to the living rooms of thousands of people across the world. A great way to close a weird year. Lets pray 2021 will be better and hope we can see each other on a dancefloor soon!
