Next up to release on Vakant is CW/A aka Clockwork and Avatism and their new 'Conducting the Method' EP is set to drop on September 29. 

There are three original tracks and one remix on the EP and we have a premiere of perhaps the darkest cut to be released. 'Modern Conflict Theory' is a moody-warehouse techno jam that stuns and excites as soon as the first kick-drum hits.

Perfect for injecting some energy into an early-morning slot, you need to check this.

Individual powerhouses of production, Avatism and Clockwork have become one of the most exciting duos on dance music's current circuit. The turn of a new month brings the warmly welcomed news of their debut album as CW/A, Words Unspoken, Acts Undone.

In the lead-up to its release on Parachute Records, the guys have come forth with a celebratory Upfront of LP exclusives,. Following in the album's footsteps, the mix travels through the spectrum of electronic sounds, spanning comprehensively from techno's meditative slowburner to the bass-orientated peaktime track, and back again. Additional nods to Kero - the name behind all of Parachute's artwork - for the special curation on this Upfront mix.

Words Unspoken, Acts Undone is due out (physi + digi) on 16th October.

This week's instalment of our 50WEAPONS Debut series comes from label veterans and longtime collaborators, Benjamin Damage & Doc Daneeka. Their first collaborative release was the "Creeper" 12", which got played out to a huge San Fran crowed by Modeselektor themselves. Damage & Daneeka subsequently signed to 50WEAPONS the very next day.

Five years on, they show their support in the final ten, poignant releases on the label, #40-50, by appearing on #42 alongside Bicep, as well as #48 with Truncate. For "Kansas", the duo keep it in the family, honing in on the familiar sonic world of whirring, mechanical techno. A sound that the Berlin-based label are well acclaimed for by now.

50WEAPONS42 is out on 23rd October (physi + digi).

Benjamin Damage & Doc Daneeka "Kansas" - Boiler Room Debuts

Singaporean label Darker Than Wax have been pushing the musical boundaries in their motherland for around five years now, with Lithuanian producer Deep Shoq a notable fixture on their roster in helping the development of the Darker Than Wax style. Following on from last year's Arrow EP that featured on King Britt's guest mix for Benji B's BBC Radio 1 show, Deep Shoq announces his second DTW release, Krystallise EP. The four tracks fall in line with the broken beats and uptempo rhythm akin to Symbols Recordings and those of similar ilk, with EP closer "S.O.A.K." taking place as our top pick, as probably the most forthright and bouncy track of them all.

Krystallize drops fully on 15th January 2016. The pre-order will become available on the 8th January 2016 via Beatport.
