Greetings! We're excited to share one last Pacific Spirit session in 2022. This time around we're taking an uplifting cruise through foundational and under the radar deep house from the golden era stitched together by NYC's @arsenii aka Bliss Street Queens. Arsenii released an incredible record with us a few months back called the "Deep Hows EP" and this mix is evocative of the sound he explored on that essential 12". If you haven't secured a copy there's still a handful floating around at the finer record stores on the Planet E.

Pacific Spirit No. 83 | Bliss Street Queens

The 2022 Edition was a special one for me, full of mixed feelings and not really in my best mental state. As soon as I was up there and got in the groove I looked up and saw all the smiles and for a moment I forgot all the bad stuff and went for the ride.
So this is my little gift to you all.

Immense thanks for all your kind words received during the festival. Before and after my set. I live for moments like this and to celebrate music in such environments with the best crowds possible.
Small, simple, good music, good people. Thats all I need.

Also thanks for continually supporting Parallel Festival. I have big plans for the future which I hope to make possible.

Wes's bio:
For decades Wes Baggaley, the self confessed vinyl addict has been familiar to promoters, record store staff and clubbers in Manchester and London, but in recent years he has become a familiar face to a much wider audience.
From 2016 to 2020 he played some of the best regarded underground parties across Europe including the legendary Panoramabar, Frankfurt’s esteemed Robert Johnson, NYC Downlow, Horse Meat Disco, Chapter 10, Adonis, Berlin’s About Blank, Griessmuehle and Wild Renate, Kaiku in Helsinki, Czech Republic, St Petersburg, Folklore in Lausanne, Switzerland , Corvin Club in Budapest, Guest House in Bucharest, Romania, Pal in Hamburg alongside Deetron and Sugar Factory in Amsterdam where he also guested on Red Light Radio.
Written features across several leading dance music titles have appeared and Wes has done live streamed sets for Mixmag's The Lab and an extremely well received one for Boiler Room. Since the Covid 19 pandemic struck Wes has done a number of live streams including one for Jerome Hill’s brilliant Don’t label and onefor Krake festival, both streamed live from Fold, London. He has also appeared on Berlin’s now legendary Hör. 
Wes held a residency on Rinse FM from 2017 to 2021 and can currently be found playing everything from dark ambient, noise and industrial to techno, electro and breaks on the first Saturday bi-monthly on Narr Radio.
