COSMO Mit Michael Mayer (WDR)- Episode 43

We couldn’t ask for anyone better than @isa-wolff to kick off our podcast series. 

Take a dive into her complex world of dreamy electro and melodic breakbeat. There’s a bunch of suitably kitschy and catchy synth ventures, a healthy sprinkling of melancholic acid, and some trance-tinged cuts that see you through, entirely soothed and grooved. It’s hard not to enjoy.

You name it, Kiss Nuka can do it. The Mumbai-born, Goa-based artist dabbles in many different creative fields. In the world of music you'll find her producing, composing, singing and writing, and in her other passion - the visual arts - she's a director and editor for music videos and immersive AV experiences. 

Her love of nature is what binds much of her work. This is definitely true of her debut EP, Serpentine, which came out last month on her own eponymous label. Created during tropical monsoon season, and produced entirely on a pair of headphones without her studio set up, the release channels her different musical influences, including DnB, trance, bass and psy tech, and in its visual aesthetic symbolises her evolution and growth as an artist.

Before finding her voice in music, she'd already gained plenty of recognition for her visual work, picking up accolades at the likes of the London Music Video Awards and Independent Music Awards. She matches both of these passions on Serpentine, sharing a handful of short self-directed videos to coincide with the music release. 

Her contribution to the 'Shine A Light On' series is a run down of her influences and features her own productions, including tracks from the debut EP. It's got that full throttle Friday pace... hold on to your hats.

kfpnyx 041 kommt vom berliner dj und produzenten ones. und eröffnet die neue artwork reihe von laura meyer. stark beeinflusst von detroit techno, liefert er einen spannungsvollen und lebendigen mix, der sich darauf konzentriert, eine facette der soundwelt des von ihm und @rasval neu gegründeten vinyl-only-labels @tmntrax zum ausdruck zu bringen. das set gipfelt im letzten track der aufnahme, der teil der ersten ep der beiden sein wird, welche ende februar erscheint.

die kfpnyx mix serie beinhaltet diverse stile elektronischer musik, insbesondere zackigen sowie flächigen techno, house, electro, breakbeat und ambient. einbinden möchten wir unsere residents, freunde der crew und ausgewählte gäste.

kicking off the new artwork series by laura meyer with kfpnyx 041, recorded by berlin dj and producer ones.. juggling between the realms of detroit schooled techno he delivers a vivid and vibey mix, that is focussed on expressing a facet of the sound world of the vinyl only label tmn trax, which was newly founded by him and rasval. the mix culminates in the last track of the recording, which will be part of the first ep of the two, being released at the end of february.

the kfpnyx mix series includes many sub kinds of electronic music, especially rough and melodic techno, house, electro, breakbeat and ambient. for this purpose we want to involve our residents, friends of the crew and selected guests.
