Bloody Mary is an producer, live act, DJ, label owner of Dame-Music, and resident at Tresor Berlin.

This mix brings together some of her favourite tracks from the summer—acid bangers and groovy techno cuts from producers she admires—alongside three of her own. It includes one from her latest EP, another forthcoming on 26 September, and a third signed to a favourite acid label for release on vinyl later this year. The set is all about high energy and raw grooves.

Farfa is a Florence-born DJ with decades of experience and a renewed drive to turn emotion and rhythm into dance-floor art. Starting in the ’90s with sets of funk, disco and proto-house, his sharp selection and fluid mixing soon made him one of Italy’s most respected exports, playing leading clubs and festivals worldwide.

His sound has been described as everything from psychedelic techno to cyber-trance, but Farfa follows instinct over genre, shaping each set in the moment.

This mix moves through deep tech and progressive grooves with touches of nu-trance, finishing with an ’80s-tinged flourish.

Nuela Charles is an alternative soul singer/songwriter based in Edmonton, Canada, known for her soulful vocals and captivating stage presence. Noted as "one to watch" by the legendary SoulTrain.com, Nuela has become an indie synch darling, landing eleven (11) TV placements off of her debut album "Aware" alone!

Cited by the U.K.'s Metro publication as "cocked, locked and ready to be shot onto the world stage with a soulful voice that may one day fill the Amy Winehouse-shaped holes in everyone's hearts," Nuela has brought her distinct voice to various stages across North America. Over the last several years she has showcased at Canadian Music Week multiple times, headlined an evening at the Edmonton Jazz Festival, and even landed an opening support slot for Ziggy Marley. ⚡️ The DEBUT track from Nightseason on Noon Pacific Records ⚡️

Nightseason wrote their debut EP over emails without ever meeting in person. Surfing through Spotify, drummer-turned-producer Patrick Zeinali had a vision of the voice he wanted for his new project. The howling, raw vocals of Jordan Caiola from indie rock band Mo Lowda & the Humble struck a fine chord. The two found common ground over recent rough break ups, and had the desire to put their feelings out there while turning alt rock on its head. 

Caiola and Zeinali’s debut 5-track EP, to be released later in 2018, brings their rock and hip hop backgrounds to the modern age of cross-genre music. Fitting in a groove between Sir Sly and Alt-J, the duo are crafting inventive, outside-of-the-box pop and look set to drip release tracks from their EP over the next months. In the meantime, keep "Nothing Calms My Mind" in rotation.
