Chlär holds this perpetual need to learn and improve, convinced of the fundamental relationships humans share with the groove. His productions and performances are attempts to awaken the tribal and primitive instinct that sleeps in each of us. His sets are direct crowd-galvanizers, with technical and forward-thinking blends of grooves featuring loops of his own production. Always improvising through relentless 3-4 decks actions, his context sensitive approach to performances is fueled by an highly effective audience reading which will guarantee an electrifying moment, no matter the set time and duration.

He is also a mastering engineer and recently founded his own imprint Primal Instinct Rec. Chlär is sharpening his musical senses and abilities on many sides of the industry, by being an artist and
engineer but also working in A&R and Event Management, recently earning him the award of “Raver’s Choice’’ by the Raving Spoon awards.

I'm excited to share with you the first edition of my curated journey of uplifting and energetic techno, rave, breakbeat and hardgroove starting with the first Session at the historic longwave station “Europe 1”. The “Europe 1” long-wave transmitter was built in the 50s in Germany, just a few meters from the French border. Built as "Radio périphérique" to broadcast French-language radio to Europe, it held the title of the world's most powerful longwave transmitter. "Europe 1" broadcasted signals reaching from the depths of Berlin across Europe to the coast of Morocco.

Fuelled by an insatiable curiosity and deep reverence for the pioneers of electronic music, Tarkno embodies true techno culture through vinyl-only sets. Employing the use of several turntables in esteemed venues across the globe, his versatility pays homage to decades of forward-facing machine music.
