The Brothers Schwarz, Ali and Basti, have been DJing house and techno since 1990. First in Stuttgart at Schwarz-run clubs ON-U and Red Dog, and then to Germany’s creative center, Berlin, the brothers have been quietly whittling away at a dark, swirling aesthetic that fits like a glove both deep in basement clubs and at the headiest of desert parties.

Yes, the fledgling house hero that is Ashworth has indeed gifted us a doleful dose of four four cuts by way of this brand new and exclusive mix. Set to appear alongside Shadow Child and Ben Pearce in Room One in a couple weeks (19th February), the London based, vinyl loving maestro will be making his debut as part of our Friday night programming, having previously been invited down to play for our Sunday night shindig, WetYourSelf. His cut for the club strains of house and techno dropped last year on labels like Holic Trax and Anjunadeep before Ashworth released his debut LP Grain on Needwant.
