“This mix was recorded digitally and on vinyl in wintery Zürich. It features past and present favourites of mine, as well as future sounds I wish to take the direction of my music into. It is inspired by some of the great memories I had in 2022. I was very lucky to work with many artists that have influenced me for a long time, and I was overjoyed by the moments created together with my friends on project indigo. As 2023 comes around, I hope to continue experiencing these special times.”

This week’s Delayed with… mix shines a light on the Milanese crew behind Techno Space Bar and one of their resident DJs, DJ Church. Techno Space Bar is a cozy party that’s brought in some familiar names from our orbit, like Orion, Alex Albrecht, and Noc:turne, alongside a solid lineup of local talent. They’ve got some interesting plans in the works, so if you’re into deep, thoughtful electronic music, give them a follow.

For this mix, DJ Church delivers a warm and atmospheric trip through a deep and melodic house. It’s the kind of set that works best in the daytime - relaxed, immersive, and just what you need when the world feels a little too heavy. An hour to unplug, breathe, and float. “I recorded this mix alone at home, drinking some nice red wine, cradled by melancholy and hope. Thinking about all the beautiful memories of special people I’ve met at parties around the world—smiling, dancing, sharing everything, the highs and the lows.
These moments, even the challenging ones, make life worth it. Thanks to all my friends who share their lives with me on the dancefloor. Hope we can all dance together again—maybe in Milan at one of our cozy Techno Space Bar nights, or wherever there’s light in the world. And if there isn’t any, we’ll bring it.”
