A new song from South African rapper, JR. Bringing you a brand new single called Bob Mabena on which he collaborates with the music industry's newest addition to the rap game Okmalumkoolkat and South African export, electro rap sensation Spoek Mathambo! 

B.O.B which is a song based and that pays homeage to South African icon radio Bob Mabena is a mid tempo song with abstract and new sounds that JR says are "creating the sounds of a Brand Nu Afrika".

 Although this song is a breath of fresh air, it truly embraces the true South African nature of diveristy in music and is something the world will receive with open arms.

The song will be released on iTunes on the 30th of May.

Smiso Zwane aka  Okmalumkoolkat  was one of the undisputed stars of our recent  Stay True Journey  to South Africa. Whether  sending a crowd mad  or  giving insight  into the country's musical underpinnings he was a constantly engaging, intelligent and ultra-funky presence. So when Vienna's  Affine  label offered us first dibs on his new remix EP, we didn't have a moment's hesitation. This is a super-anthemic beast of a rework, taking 80s synthwork into the future on a self-assembling starship - and is it us, or does our man have a bit of a Giggs flow at one point?
