Tamer ElDerini pays homage to his Egyptian roots with a majestic organic house EP on Baikal Nomads, which also includes downtempo and progressive house remixes by BEBO (EG), Andrew Shartner, and G.O.D.A.

One of Egypt's most accomplished electronic music producers, Tamer ElDerini is a Cairo-based artist. His music combines traditional Middle Eastern instruments with modern electronic sounds. He is making his debut on Baikal Nomads following music on other respected record label such as Sol Selectas, • kosa •, Cosmic Awakenings, and Pipe & Pochet.

Complementing the two original tracks are three remixes. The first rework is by BEBO (EG), who is an Egyptian artist making music that's a cultural tapestry. Taking the tribal percussion of Afro house, he mixes in Middle Eastern melodies from his own heritage, and fuses them with electronic sounds. His tracks and remixes can be heard on the likes of Cafe De Anatolia and Shango Records.

Based in Western Siberia, Andrew Shartner is a Baikal Nomads regular, whose style is inspired by nature and its striking landscapes.

G.O.D.A. is another Egyptian artist, and he is an ambassador for Egypt's underground scene. He has played DJ sets all over the world, and his storytelling style has garnered an international fanbase. His organic style of progressive house has been released by prestigious record labels such as 3rd Avenue.

The title track, "Desert Voice," opens the release with a throbbing bass synth, laying a foundation for the enchanting melodies of Middle Eastern strings. "Dana Dana" is second of the original tracks, and its tranquil pads, Arabic vocals, and delicate piano melodies, intertwine with flowing percussion. BEBO (EG)'s remix of "Dana Dana" adds extra percussion and an arpeggio bassline, which brings an Afro house groove to the original's string melodies. Andrew Shartner delivers a downtempo remix of "Dana Dana," which strips out the strings to focus on trippy guitar chords. G.O.D.A. closes the release with a progressive house remix of "Desert Voice” that utilises a new melody and melodic pads.
