After a string of acclaimed releases on Token and a selection of remixes, Ø [Phase] released his debut album 'Frames Of Reference' on Token last fall. It earned him outstanding reviews at Resident Advisor ("a display of real power and finesse" 4/5), in DJmag ("a calculated masterpiece" 9,5/10), at XLR8R ("sticks out as an alternate route to the heart of machine music's appeal" 8/10), Groove Magazine ("pulsating techno in which every sonic details fits") and more.

Following the first single “On The Edge / Perplexed” & the second single “Dirtro II” (including the stellar ‘New Device Remix’ by Robert Hood), we now present you the last segment of the series with 2 remixes. On the A-side Rødhåd delivers an epic 10 minute interpretation of the first single ‘Perplexed’, while Robert Hood delivers a second, more minimalistic take on “Dirtro II” for the flip.

Jacek Sienkiewicz is back. “Drifting” is the artist's 5th full-length release and the second one on his Warsaw-based label Recognition since 1999. His records were played and strongly supported by renowned artists such as Sven Väth and Richie Hawtin; legendary producers like Ricardo Villalobos, Uwe Schmidt and recently, Max Loderbauer collaborated with Jacek.

“Drifting” takes its listener on a complex but still accessible journey to a state-of-the-art Techno territory where Carl Craig melodies coexist with stark minimalism of Robert Hood, but they serve only as entry points for further exploration. There is no doubt - Sienkiewicz knows all of his roots yet he creates signature sound that results from his highly original approach to modern electronic music production. His new album can be seen as a personal diary that Sienkiewicz uses to invite all listeners, no matter what their listening preferences might be, for a deep and unique ride. Constant drift and dislocation creates imaginary landscapes of future unknown. It is a surprise gift in the times of market flood with predictable releases and tasteless hype.

Above all, this album comes both from the soul and the brain and it shouldn’t be missed. Every listen is a different adventure. Enjoy.

Berghain residents Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann link back to Ostgut Ton’s label launch in 2006 with their first studio collaboration in ten years and the extended Phantom Studies, on occasion of the one hundredth O-TON 12“ EP release.

With Phantom Studies Dettmann | Klock channel their first joined releases Dawning (2006) and Scenario (2007) from over a decade ago with their first co-production in ten years. On this extended, 40-minute 2x12" EP Marcel Dettmann and Ben Klock parlay their deep personal alliance and musical repertoire through emphasis on new functional Techno as much as hypnotic, melodic and soulful music by thinking outside the box. The seven new, original tracks reflect these attributions by communicating to the needs and expectations of both DJs and home audio listeners, but not neglecting one over the other.
