Даємо слово JANE: «Мікс записувався в середині лютого, коли в Авдіївці тривали жорстокі бої. Мені захотілося передати свій настрій цього періоду через музику. Слухаючи запис, у якийсь момент можна відчути полегшення, але дуже швидко новини повертають нас у реальність. Хочу, щоб ця робота залишилася як пам’ять цього важкого періоду та внутрішніх переживань, тривоги».

JANE — київська диджейка, частина лейблу Polygon і команди фестивалю «Брудний Пес», викладачка з диджеїнгу та волонтерка. Виступала в київських клубах ∄, Keller, Collider, фестивалях Brave!Factory та «Брудний Пес», у берлінських клубах RSO.Berlin і Alte Munze, а також у Jasna у Варшаві. Виступала в ефірі берлінської радіостанції Refuge Worldwide і мюнхенської Radio 8000.

ENG : We asked Kyiv-based DJ JANE to record the 23rd episode of DTF Magazine Mix. And as it happens in our series, this is not a story about the dance floor or a party, but an attempt to share her own experiences in the context of the war in Ukraine.

Here's JANE's comment: ‘The mix was recorded in the middle of February, when there were brutal battles in Avdiivka. I wanted to convey my mood during this period through music. While listening to the record, you may feel relieved at some point, but very soon the news brings us back to reality. I want this work to remain as a memory of this difficult period and the inner feelings and anxiety’.

JANE is a Kyiv DJ, part of Polygon label and Brudnyi Pes festival team, DJing teacher and volunteer. She has performed in Kyiv clubs ∄, Keller, Collider, at Brave!Factory and Brudnyi Pes festivals, in Berlin clubs RSO.Berlin and Alte Munze, as well as at Jasna music venue in Warsaw. She has performed during broadcasts on Berlin's Refuge Worldwide and Munich's Radio 8000

The show aims to expand the musical horizons of both artists and listeners and challenge their preconceptions about the genre, by demonstrating the wide range of possibilities of this music and its introspective influence.
