Advice for the DJs, producers and artists of our community: Continue to make space for yourself, your friends, queer family, all your loved ones and the future of a community that comes after. There are so many spaces out there that aren't meant for us or don't understand us or simply don't want us but we have to continue to push beyond ourselves, up the ante and care for one another and make space for every queer person that walks into a space for now and even later.

Q . How would you describe yourself?
A. I consider myself a musician, mostly known for DJing and producing.

Q . How long have you been a part of the NY music scene?
A.  I've been in the scene since 2014 which is so wild to reflect on. In the past year or so, I've changed my relationship to going out and performing though.

Q . Tell us a little bit about this mix.
A. The mix leans ambient. At the very least, I wasn't thinking about the club or dance music in the conventional sense. I considered music that creates room for joy and introspection in my mind. I've been doing Planetarium at Nowadays since last year which has allowed me to explore curating sonic and physical spaces that offers a more restful escapism than a club night.
