[PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] proudly presents its 86th release — Mountain Altai VA: Altai Mars. Dub Techno Star Collection, Vol. 11

Red mountains like alien landscapes. Desert plateaus where the air is thin and the sky feels closer than the ground. Altai Mars is the place where nature ceases to be earthly.
Here, the sand glows with a rust-colored light, the stones look like fossilized comets, and the silence feels like interplanetary space. Standing at the summit, you no longer see Siberia — you see another planet. Altai becomes a mirror of Mars — a place of color, stillness, and immense power. Everything here sounds like the breath of the cosmos, like the vibration of distant worlds.

Vol. 11 Mountain Altai VA is dedicated to that feeling — the boundary between the terrestrial and the extraterrestrial — where nine tracks become transmissions from the Red Planet of Altai.

Mountain Altai VA: Altai Mars is the eleventh chapter of our Altai chronicle. Here, sound becomes light, and dub techno turns into the breath of another planet. This part of the collection — created to celebrate the third anniversary of [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] — is devoted to altitude and silence, to the state where a human being feels like a fragment of the cosmos. Altai Mars is Altai as seen from orbit — red dust, cold light, eternal stillness. Here, music doesn’t play — it hovers, sending pulses through the void. This is not merely a release. It is a message — from Altai, into infinity.

The duo make their debut to Drumcode Limited with a heavy, two track release. The EP showcases a mix of their talents and influences to create a moody, dark techno groove. The atmospheric EP is enriched with gritty reverbs and a deep kick drum and the slow, deep crescendos in each track create an intense sound. Mullaert and Siech prove themselves again with a powerful offering to Drumcode Limited.

Where did the second vinyl go? Is it sitting in an attic or warehouse somewhere waiting to be discovered? Is it being played as you are reading this? Is all of this just a game? Are YOU being played?

Did someone make this music or did the music just happen? Where does the process of creation start? Where does it end? And who is the listener? How does the listener affect the music? Is there really any separation between the creator, listener and the music? Are they all one and the same?

What is next? Where is all this going?Is there an end? Or are your actions just another event happening in this never-ending stream of consciousness? And to whom is it happening?
