Foremost international techno outlet Drumcode is delighted to announce the release of its next full-length album, ‘Satellite’, by enduring Italian techno talent Sam Paganini.

Though he has been active since the mid nineties, recent years have been hugely successful for Sam, with searing techno EPs coming on revered labels such as Riche Hawtin’s Plus8, Sven Vath’s Cocoon and of course, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode. In his time he has been responsible for underground hits like ‘Zoe’, ‘Polyester’ and ‘Fire In My Arms’, all of which demonstrate his dynamic understanding of sexy, dark and hypnotic techno grooves and at the same time have earned him plenty of great Beatport chart positions as well as respect from the best in the game.

Incredibly, ‘Satellite’ is Sam’s first full-length album. Informed by his DJ gigs at legendary places like Berghain in Berlin and Cielo in New York, the album starts with a dystopian bit of sonic scene setting, as if a space ship is charging up ready to take off.

From there it’s a case of getting straight down to business. ‘Another Chance’ is a spacey bit of cantering techno and ‘White’ is rooted in devastating kick drums and is riddled with serrated synth lines that build lots of great techno pressure. ‘Down’ is an undulating bit of funky techno complete with choice vocal flourishes and tracks like ‘Lotus’ are prime offerings from the deeper end of the scale.

No two tracks sound the same on Satellite: Sam is always teasing out a new bit of texture, nailing a slightly different vibe or exploring different amounts of light and dark throughout the course of this most excellent album. This is evidenced by diverse cuts like ‘Dusty’, ‘Toxic’ and ‘Rave’.

Despite ‘Satellite’ being Sam’s debut album, it showcases his seductive style in all its glory across 12 fantastic tracks that will leave you begging for more.

Brothers is a techno-devoted label – masterminded by two real life siblings – with a unique selling point rooted in the art of collaboration. Artists are challenged to buddy up with someone they’ve never shared studio space with, craft some music and voila, an IDM-tinged WAV emerges from the other side.
 
The sixth release sees the return of Manchester-based duo, AnD, in collaboration with 3 new Brothers artists: Headless Horseman (with his 1st release outside his Headless imprint), Sunil Sharpe and D Carbone. “Security Breach” is the whomping audio offspring of Sunil Sharpe and the Manny twosome, which we’re lucky enough to debut. Bask in a stellar five-minute exercise in fissured grooves and disorienting machine noise flares.
 
BS006 is released on November 7.

E-Missions co-founder P.Leone returns to Radio Slaves’ Rekids Special Projects dropping four high grade techno cuts.

Known for releasing on labels such as Work Them Records and his own co-run E-Missions, P.Leone has firmly become of the most exciting artists within the inner circles of driving underground music. The Berlin-based American artist and Radio Slave collaborator is now welcomed back to Rekids, bringing his versatile sound that encompasses dark techno and groove driven house.

'Beyond Me' opens with eerie warehouse glitches, cavernous drums that ring out into a huge open space while unsettling pads and textures grab your attention, 'Hard to Find' is a rugged, relentless cut with perfectly forward moving rhythm with detailed edgy synths that keep you in suspense. 'Lenox' continues the energy with distorted drums, hitting hard beneath a blistering groove, 'The Genes is of A Flower' then takes control as an atmospheric track with structural synths.

P.Leone - Hard To Find

KR/LF also known as Kill Ref Low Frequencies, is a label platform created by the Italian artist Kill Ref. With a mission to break new ground and share a love for a variety of sounds, since its inception in 2016 it has featured artist contributions from Developer, Endlec, Binny, Charlton, Coefficient, plus many others.

The eleventh release welcomes back Lithuanian artist Under Black Helmet for his hugely anticipated debut album "It Emerged From Nothing" having released on labels such as Bas Mooy's Mord and Moerbeck's Code Is Law.

His work is fanatically followed and draws influence from a wide variety of styles that he is now renowned for, as it seems his perpetual mission is to relentlessly pursue his own individualism.

Beginning with "Infinity" as a dreamy experimental piece, "Direct Collapse" is in stark contrast as a pounding, energetic acid-tinged expedition. Track three "Proton Decay" is a broken beat, haunting soundscape and "Radiate" is bursting with a raving heart. "Death Of The Last Sun" works a double-time kick and angelic chords, "Space and Time" has a pumping rhythm with hypnotic hook, where "Continuum" continues with driving attitude and industrial influence and "Supernova" is a tense and rolling jam. Closing the experience is "It Will End In Ice" a harmonic slice of expert sound design with splashes of distortion.

Sylvie Maziarz joined the label a year or two ago and immediately became one of those people that make an impression forever. Her DJ skills undenieable, her productions typically fierce and piercing and her drive that is second to none. Unfortunately, covid temporarily slowed her rise down but I have a funny feeling she will be not exactly be backing down once this strange period in all our lives has ended.

The title of the EP is her way of asking where this world is heading, with our lives morphing into a digital version where it's becoming increasingly hard to seperate reality from fake. In that aspect, Sylvie is definitely a child of this era, on a crossroad in history whereno one knows yet where it will go to.

We can only hopethe future will lead to more of tracks like she created on this release. Have a listen. And dance. Even if you only can dance at home or alone.
