Apart from his daytime job as a classically trained composer and studied sound engineer, Dajusch has been involved in many music and film projects over the last decade, enhancing Berlin’s electronic music scene as a DJ and promoter. His own parties and extended vinyl-only sets have achieved legendary status amongst insiders.

While also staying behind the curtain mixing and mastering for renowned artists of all genres, his DJ-Sets range from high BPM banging techno to the subtle beauty of genre classics, never lacking the energy required to set any dancefloor on fire.

Being a bit of a traditionalist, the sound of his own productions is deeply connected and rooted to the pioneering sound of Detroit and Chicago. 
With Fjaak’s Spandau20 label he found the ideal homebase and was featured regularly on their past releases, with a follow up right around the corner.

We´re back with another podcast and this time we are graced by @darko-esser (Aka Tripeo) who we have already had the pleasure to enjoy during our first outdoor edition in LOFI Amsterdam. 

The Dutch dj, producer and promoter is a staple of the scene and has long been active on all fronts. His idea for this particular mix is telling a story through different voices than his own, using only tracks produced by artists from lgbtqia+ community. The mood is eclectic and diverse, as he switches through styles and intensity mirroring the uniqueness of their creators.

Léa Occhi is a French Techno DJ based in Berlin, co-founder and resident of the Spectrum in Paris.
Inspired by the Berliner culture and the LGBT community, Léa definitely know how to make the
people dance. Her music always oscillates between rhythmic techno and deep bass lines.
In 2018, you could see her playing at the wildest parties of Paris. (Possession, Peripate, La Toilette,
Fée Croquer) She has been playing in famous places like Concrete, La Machine du Moulin Rouge,
NF-34 or Griessmühle, Tresor and About Blank in Berlin. She also shared the booth alongside great artists such as Courtesy, Kobosil, Projekt Gesltaten, Nihad Tule, Newa (Bassiani), Anastasia
Kristensen, Adriana Lopez and many others...

For our 51st episode of the Fast Forward Audio Series, we present: François X

Hailing from Paris, François X has forged his position as fierce DJ and producer, as one of France’s finest exports in the world of techno.

Gaining attention in the mid-2000s as a frenetic techno kid with debut releases on Dj Deep imprint, Deeply Rooted, and numerous appearances at local clubs, his career kickstarted in 2012 with his Concrete residency. There he shaped many sonically adventurous stories and led him to be a regular at notable institutions from major festivals ( Exit Festival, Melt Festival, Audioriver, Nuits Sonores) to play closing sets at Berghain.

François’ love for the club has brought with it a reputation as a vibrant artist behind the turntables. Channelling obscure, forgotten and timeless techno gems, his fantasied sets capture themes of passion and utopia through a myriad of frenzied sounds from the 90’s acid to forward-thinking techno.
It was in the record stores that he met French electronic music pioneer and close friend Dj Deep and quickly convinced him to release a total of three releases for the seminal Parisian imprint.

Before long, François launched his own imprint DEMENT3D in 2011, a vivid record label noted by Resident Advisor as a key cog in the French music renaissance. It has been the home of his last five releases and his debut album ‘Irregular Passion’, hailed by Groove Magazine in their top debut LPs of 2018, Providing the perfect example of François X’s ability to merge sensual and rich textures amongst darker elements through electronica off-kilter techno adventures.
Since May 2019 François X has welcomed the birth of ‘XX LAB’, a new multicultural platform which explores genres across the electronic sphere and has released to critical acclaim his latest projects Murky dreams and Irregular Passion Reshaped to launch the venture.
