Amapiano is the new house movement emerging from South African townships and taking off as an international phenomenon.

In this mix, JazziDisciples (@user-838561057) member @josiah-de-disciple showcases his take on the sound.

Josiah De Disciple says: "My sound is more melodic and soulful. You will find a lot of Afro House elements as well as inspiration from World Music as that is what I enjoy listening to. In terms of creating I prefer doing it in my own space and the ingredients really depend on the song that’s being made. Sometimes the focus will be on the drums and baseline, other times it’s the vocals and chords or keys. I enjoy working with Lennon Percs, we have two projects that we have worked on the latest one came out last month titled 'Throwback'."
