SYSTEM returns with Addis Abeba resident @ethiopianrecords - a leading light in Ethiopia’s underground electronic music scene - supplying a stunning mix to support his campaign to support the fledgling Ethiopiyawi musicians affected by Covid-19. Leaning heavily on his own productions and edits, alongside excerpts from the late Fred Hampton, and the the film Bamako, this is music that fuses tradition and cutting-edge, and is interwoven with strong sense of purpose.
