Originally born in Flint, MI, Blackmoonchild credits her move to Detroit at a young age as being instrumental in her love and appreciation for electronic music. Her sound spans genres and influences, ranging from techno, house, garage, footwork, jungle, hip-hop, and more. Currently she is the co-resident DJ of Blueprint, a black femme led dance party that takes place bimonthly in Detroit.
