For Volume 17 of our mix series we are proud to present Native Boundaries artists, Fleksor. Bjorn is inspired in equal parts by the frenetic culture-jamming of 2010’s club music, and the highly curated psychedelia of Seattle’s all-night techno parties. 

Fleksor creates club-ready tracks with an ear for texture and syncopation. He is a long time contributor to the 320 RIP compilation series, with past releases on Main Course Records, Snø Recordings and Knightwerk among others. “I had fun pulling from my 2010s club music crates on this one from around when I first was playing out, and blending that with more recent bass music and electro”

Us presentem amb orgull el primer disc de PLOU PLIM, l'alter ego de PLOM, concebut durant l'any 2022. La cara A està plena de micro-mostres d'audio extrany i mètriques impossibles on no saps si vas, vens o et trobes viatjant en un Hovercraft de cap per avall. La cara B, és una revisió totalment espitada i distorsionada d'un collage d'openings d'anime en català realitzat al 2016. En definitiva, un disc que us farà reflexionar si realment això és música o simplement la broma d'un tarat.
Aquest disc ha estat concebut per la banda durant una època d'alta activitat monàstica, on les relacions socials foren reduïdes a intervencions en recopil·latòris sonors proposats a través de fòrums online de música tipus shitcore, nu-breakcore, speedcore, noise i alt-dnb, i en contrast amb una quantitat de temps absurda dedicada a la burocràcia en l'àmbit educatiu. Si estàs cercant una experiència auditiva singular, surrealista i desafiant, no dubtis en donar-li una oportunitat a aquest disc. Et garantim que no trobaràs res igual en cap altre lloc!

PLOU PLIM is a London-based musical project, created by 2 designers: Ramón Rodríguez Celma - Bass and vocals of the Spanish 80's noise pioneers, Skabiosa (member since 1986). And Fernando Gando - Bass player of punk rockers Onda de Choque, besides half of Dakota Matthews Band and founder of Fag Volume Patrol.
The eclectic, abstract electronic sounds of their debut album "Form Destroyer", coupled with the revolving line-up of collaborators and accompanying visuals, which displays the band’s nihilistic aesthetic. The wittingly obnoxious, grotesque and humouristic performances have garnered significant attention since the early 2000’s in London, New York and Asia (special mention of performances at Bank Street Arts, Tasters NY Festival).
The project has official releases on labels such as Percurred Mag, Indecent Noise Recordings, and Content Methabolics.
