Perrine, notre cheffe du jour, nous a fait mariner un set aux nuances trancy et aux notes acidulées pour se remettre en jambe comme il se doit. Forte de ses nombreuses expériences derrière les platines avec des résidences chez Lyl Radio, des sets aux Nuits Sonores, au Sucre mais également à l’international, cette diggeuse hors pair aime explorer et n’a pas vocation à ne mixer qu’un seul style. On trouve aussi bien dans son catalogue des sets ambient (pour son yoga), que des sets comme celui qu’elle nous propose aujourd'hui bien destiné à casser le dancefloor. Et ce podcast composé de morceaux progressive, trance, acid mais toujours bien groovy nous le prouve bien, notamment avec le son Decktition - Rise qui vient relever ce plat du jour à merveille.


Bien qu’elle puise ses inspirations du moment dans ses nombreuses influences musicales, le feeling reste avant tout le maître mot. Ce qu’elle préfère ? Articuler les morceaux en fonction de l’instant et se positionner de l’autre côté des platines afin de réussir à proposer la meilleure recette possible à ses auditeurs.rices. Même si l'instantanéité du MP3 lui plaît, on la verra le plus souvent toucher les vinyles, son “médium de coeur” ! Quoi qu’il en soit, on a hâte de la retrouver dans nos clubs adorés, toujours prête à nous faire découvrir de nouveaux horizons. Bon ap’ 🌯

Originally released on 28 Aug 2009 through Record Union as part of a test to see if I could actually publish music on streaming services.

The release was later taken down due to metadata errors, but now returns in its original form.

Trans A.M's (that full stop is important) debut offering is a class act. Not only is the Speechless EP a twosome of forceful techno guzzlers at its core, but whatever other influences they've shovelled in only seem to strengthen the deal. Example #1 being the title track. "Speechless" knits together broken, bass driven, robotic grooves with traces of dancehall dem bow riddim with a disastrous outcome. Catch it when it lands on January 30 via SPE:C.

Heading from his own True Rotary Recordings (co-run with Ena Cosovic), Be As One and recently showing appearance twice on BROR Records sub-label Lilies - Joel Alter presents a diverse three track EP on BROR Records with “BROR07” under his techno alias Jor-El.

The A-side holds the highly effective “In Ur Face” with broken percussions. A track with a daring arrangement that half way through imposes dark energy through the moody bass line and a relentless four to the floor kick work.

On the B-side Jor-El brings the emotive “In Ur Mind”, a perfectly crafted atmospheric techno cut followed by the energetic off-kilter outro “Spectrum”- techno stripped to its bare essentials.
