HARD Summer LA 2025 Official Mixtape Series: Alex Chapman + Zoe Gitter

All Hallows' Eve is here and in truly ghoulish style, we have a number that's eerie and captivating in equal measure. Made up of three friends/collaborators by the names of Akira, Leo and Dennis, Woodgrain Vicious are a UK collective who hopscotch between music production, performing, design and product development.

"SHINIGAMI" is just shy of 12mins long — a real marathon in comparison to our usual short burst, ~3min Debut choices — and operates more like a movie score than anything else. Macabre snippets get ripped from bygone horror flicks, nightmarish piano tinkles plod seemingly rise from the dead and trappy 808-ridden cuts lurk in between. Basically, it's the perfect accompaniment for any trick or treating escapades.
