We are proud to release first full length album on the series by FAKK, the boss of “under.time”, a label and event series running in Rosario, Argentina. The album is named “El cementerio de las maquinas parlantes” which translates to “The graveyard of speakers” and have a mystical, ghostly feel to it. This project was a while in the making with an idea to be full club ready release with 8 tracks ranging through a specific spectrum of electronic music through the worldview of the artist resulting in this 2x12”. This marks an official pathway for more albums on the label in the future but that’s another topic. It is a joy to see it turn out how it did with a super high chance sending some speakers to beyond repair state in the world that we are living in.

In the early 90s, many producers witnessed the continuous expansion of technological and conceptual boundaries. From drum machines to computer-associated sequencers, from house to dance trance, new styles, and new technologies emerged, coexisted, and solidified; many have survived since.

In 2024, Boom Bunny's "Inner Quest" continues this exact search in his debut EP on Mirage Sud. A desire to mix styles while drawing inspiration from the atmosphere of a festival dancefloor. Organic Goa, energetic rhythm, and crackling psychedelic leads amid resonant filters and tribal sounds faithful to the progressive house of the early 2000s.

Music in its festive environment can be limited to a form of simplicity without worry and seriousness. It calls on our connections with party spaces to become sensitive again to moments shared with the people dancing around us, to relive for as long as possible that nostalgia of an instant that drives us, again and always, to go out, to enjoy, to feel free.

2025 kicks off a new year with a new artist for Klasse Wrecks, it is with great pleasure we welcome Glasgow based DJ and producer Stevie Cox to our ranks. Stevie’s second full length release is one of deep cerebral breaks and evolving technicoloured techno, 4 tracks that surprisingly weave an already defined and recognisable sound from the young artist.

Don’t expect over-thought and over-cooked musings though, Ms. Cox keeps it fresh, to the point and relevant with most tracks clocking in around 5 minutes. There is enough playfulness to keep the gurners smiling and enough well-thought out drumwork to keep the feet moving, this tight selection will most likely find its way into a variety of record bags during its lifespan.

DC Salas is a Belgian DJ/producer hailing from Brussels. Active on the Belgian and European nightlife for 14 years now, as a DJ, DC crafted his sound into something pretty diverse: house, new beat, 90’s wrong speeder or percussive beats, no boundaries. As a producer he released music on labels such as: Correspondant, River Rapid, TAU, B-Pitch Control, Kill The DJ and his own imprint Biologic Records.

Plaform 23 is delighted to release a compilation across 4 EPs of the music of Dutch producer Robbert Heijnen (Psychick Warriors Of Gaia / SUMUS) and his Exquisite Corpse project. First appearing as a one off contribution to a Katharos Foundation compilation cassette in 1986, Exquisite Corpse was resurrected in 1992 as Robbert left PWOG to concentrate on solo music. 

The first home studio sketches were developed as music to be incorporated in PWOG, the music was often having a more melodic and harmonic content.
With limited audio gear, much was created using tape loops and completed in parallel with mixing desk master, engineer and friend, Tim Freeman, as well as with contributions from partner Debbie Jones (The Mistress/DJ Venus).  Released on Dutch label KK Records, the tracks included in these 12”s are taken from a furtive two year period that saw six EPs and three LPs released.  

Starting with Inner Rhythm (Higher World Mix), taken from 1993’s Inner Rhythm EP, Between Rhythms I starts with intent.  Crisp percussion, relentless and interwoven sequences abound over a dark bassline, before the dub meet world sounds of Kupuri show the depth of EC’s outlook.  

This is backed by the rawness of X-Out from 1992’s Strange Attractor EP.   Recorded to cassette before Tim joined the project, the guttural bass and sharp percussion cross boundaries between house and techno.   This deep tribal sound, full of pulsing drums hightlights a sharper angle from much of EC’s output and as such, is a pure club machine.  

The first EP closes with Sitting In A Tree (Time Flies).  The first track to be taken from their debut album, Dream Night Dance Music, the album is rightly considered their strongest, more rounded record, seeing it now trading at spiralled prices.  With all 6 of it’s songs to be covered across the 12” series, the ambient influences and yearning keys here make for a perfect, first ending.
