Originally released in 1993, Two Full Moons & A Trout was one of the seminal releases on Platipus Records.

It was picked up by Rising High in 1994 featuring the epic remix by Caspar Pound and mix by Friends Lovers & Family.

Platipus delivered 2 further remixes in 2006 by Luke Chable, Chab and Tetonik^.

Now 7 years later and 20 years after the original release, we thought it's time for a fresh take on this legendary release.

This time round from with mixes from Belgium's Airwave, Israel's Freedom Fighters & Domestic and USA's Terra Ferma, each bringing their own take within today's sound along with the Original 14" Mix.

Following on from the ageless ‘A Time Before Time’, Simon Berry continues his perennial pursuit of creating uncompromising, individualistic compositions.

Take a walk through the park and immerse yourself in the sentience of his latest creation.

A cascading orchestral arpeggio in a time signature that defies the laws of physics, interlocks seamlessly with syncopated bass resonances, interwoven vocal fragments and analogue flora and fauna.

German sound designer Tommaso De Donatis aka Watergate, and one half of DJ Quicksilver, makes a welcome remixing return to Platipus with another superlative acid-laden 303 excursion beyond the pines.

Athenian maestro Basil O’Glue has stuck to his guns for the past two decades conspiring with a multitude of esteemed entities including Solarstone, Gai Barone, Markus Schultz, Joof and Afterglow. His remix of ‘Cyano’ retains the beauty and vast spaciousness of the original, but cranks it up several notches for peak-time disruption.
London based DJ and producer Alfonso Muchacho takes the helm with his reworking of ‘Azureus’ which is altogether a more contemplative affair, with it’s requiem style choral motif, channelling altered states from within. 
‘Cyano’/ ‘Azureus’ mixes will be unearthed on the 14th July.

Produced by Australians Gab Oliver and C.J. Dolan (remember Quench ‘Dreams’?’), both tracks were caned by the likes of Sasha, Digweed, Anthony Pappa and Oakenfold and ‘Blue’ originally appeared on Sasha’s legendary Global Underground San Francisco compilation.

Veteran Berlin synth boffin and nautical naval gazer Torsten Fassbender takes the helm once again and charters a submersible solution. Cranking up the pressure to unfathomable depths, a tidal wave barrage of voluminous bass propels a vertical passage towards a deep backdrop of unworldly synchronised melodic synth sequences, unearthing beautifully exotic aquaflora and ear fauna, with what is quite possibly Torsten’s finest remix to date.

Originally released back in ’95, ‘Octopus’ is one of Simon Berry’s strongest Art Of Trance releases to date. Later that year, it was remixed by R&S artist Capricorn (of 20Hz fame) and Man With No Name, so it seemed that after 20 years new remixes were surely justified.

Italy’s fast rising star Gai Barone has delivered quite possibly the finest remix he’s ever done with his Gallery Remix. Not only that, he decided to do a second remix for good measure.

Israel’s Yuli from Perfect Stranger serves up a very solid mix which stays closer to the original.

Frenchman, Rick Pier O’Neil returns with another sublime slice of sunrise.

Englishman, Matt Holliday offers a spacious and textured soundscape for his interpretation and is followed by a remastered version of the original.
