Sometimes matching an original artists with remix artists feels a bit like creating a band. You want to bring several people together that all match but have their own unique skillset. In the case of this EP by @da-iguana it worked out very well. @dilaif created a very relaxed meditation version, @barbarella_dd comes in more dancy with Pauken & Trompeten and @rafiralfiro brings the funk alive within the track. Therefore we decided to go for a cover that reflects of this wonderful band of ours, now only for a short amount of time, but maybe unified at some point in the future again...

The São Paulo based collective, Sonido Trópico, have long been establishing themselves as a new voice to be heard within the latin-american scene.

They now take a big step forward in founding a Label. Their first official release, SONIDO TRÓPICO VOL. 1, contains 13 tracks that put into waves exactly what Sonido Trópico is all about. The Producers and DJs who's work appear on this first album have not only played at Sonido Trópico's already infamous parties, but have worked alongside Sonido's 4 Resident DJs (Spaniol, Nirso, Salvador Araguaya & El Peche) in bringing new life and energy to the Sâo Paulo scene. Together they have reinterpreted and expanded, beyond precedent, the horizons of electronic music within the ultra-creative scene in São Paulo.

Castello Dança: Sintoma is the re-reading of the album Sintoma of the Brazilian singer-songwriter Castello Branco.

Sintoma is an entry inside the Castello’s soul. Seeing the evolution and the path of how the mold of his path, coming from being raised in a different community, living in a monastery for most of his life, and how is resonates after being in contact with this Brazil of today. Complicated times that are in the need of a light and love.

From this "Ufolclore", is born delicate arrangements and meditative frequencies that vibrate an elegant path, bringing us, in the speech, the evolution classes of the “being’’.

Eleven composers were invited to remix all the tracks from ‘’Sintoma’’ : Thomash, Nu, Cosmic & Damião, Gerra G, Billy Caso, Barda, Spaniol, Holger Hecler, Tomás Tróia, Pigmalião, M.RUX.
