Paweł Zawadzki also known as Concept of Thrill is a Polish artist and DRVMS LTD label owner who is somewhat of a local legend DJ and live performer in his home country, gracing places like INSTYTUT Festival, while also venturing out into other cities in Europe such as playing Khidi nightclub in Georgia or Tresor, Griessmuehle and Arena Club in Berlin. He has shared line-ups with artists such as Perc, Amelie Lens, DVS1, SNTS, Kobosil, Marika Rossa, Headless Horseman, and Abdulla Rashim to name only a few. As a producer he boasts appearances on labels like Christian Wünsch's Tsunami and Evod Music, as he aims his sound at atmospheric, cyclical techno full of character and interesting sound design, so those who enjoy esoteric, heady and hypnotic flavours will feel right at home. Mist Gasp es el dúo formado por Bartig Move y Ogando, gallegos asentados en el Reino Unido. Nacido como un proyecto de directo basado en la improvisación con maquinas hardware, influenciado en gran medida por el techno clásico, hipnótico y atemporal, pero con un gran enfoque hacia la pista de baile. Es después de unos cuantos años cuando este proyecto comienza a derivar hasta el estudio trayendo consigo la creación de varios discos que verán la luz en los próximos meses en algunos de los sellos mas respetados de la escena techno mundial.

Lost In Ether | Podcast #179 | Rommek

After great podcasts in 2016 (with Aimee's violin) and 2019 (as Torn Relics) we are happy to share with you the third mix of Rommek exclusively recorded for Lost In Ether!

BIO:
As a well-established artist, Rommek has creatively expanded in his own sound, as well as having caved his way into the current techno and experimental scenes. His extensive interest in sound design is crafted within the dense atmospheres, heavy broken drums and dynamic tones found within his productions.
The London based producer released his debut 12” 'Thought Patterns EP' on Weekend Circuit in 2014. Since then, he’s released music on Leyla records, Methodical and in 2016 he joined the seminal Blueprint Records.
After various releases including “Moth Hole” “Arcane” and contributing to the 20 years ‘Structures and Solutions’ compilation, he gained a wide range of noteworthy support and grew within the blueprint family. In 2018, Rommek completed his most establish work to date, the ‘Set In Stone Trilogy’. The three part release compromises of 12 tracks, original and remixes from key members of the Blueprint team, James Ruskin, OVR, Broken English Club and Makaton.
Torn Relics, the experimental project between Rommek + Aimee Mullen was formed during 2018. Together, they utilise a range of classical and electronic instruments to create a rich and twisted sound pallet, mixing cyber-punk electronics with tribalistic rhythms. Their debut EP, The Poisoned Chalice, released on Sacred Court, featured a remix by label owner SNTS. In 2020 Torn Relics – Abolish The Dogma 8-track Album was released on Leyla Records. From this, it’s clear that Rommek is driven to continue expanding his capabilities and keep things moving forward.
