T<I is making some serious waves currently - this one is his appearance on Release's EP on Horizons. 

‘King Stays’ A track that has been supported up and down the, from Calibre to Dj Hype, this is one of the rare drum and bass cross spectrum tracks. Release and T>I draw on both their strengths combining a minimal stripped back approach, whilst creating a bouncy and infectious funk, underpinned with deep subs and flashes of well know breaks. This is a track set to be a landmark in both producers back catalogues.

‘Make me Feel’ A fine balance of musical vibes and a deep underpinning rhythm. Release draws on driving drums and both synthesized and live bass hits to fill the body of the track. Musical samples and well placed FX come together perfectly to give this track a classic light and dark vibe, typical of Release’s style.

‘Giving Up’ Pulling together classic vocals, rave samples and growly bass stabs, all working in harmony with a well know drum break, this track chops and pumps in all the right places, whilst giving away hints of nostalgia. This one is made for the floor.

Celebrating two decades in business, Technique Recordings have opened up the vaults and handed out the stems of some of their biggest tunes to some of the sickest producers around. We had warnings of what was to come with DC Breaks' remix of Tantrum Desire's 'Airhead' and Glitch City's take on Drumsound & Bassline Smith's 'Skumbag', and cuts from this album have been shelling down raves and festivals all summer.

Now, here's what we've been waiting for.

This album, spanning the full twenty years of Technique history, showcases the real strength and depth of the catalogue. Anthems like Crissy Criss & Youngman's 'Kick Snare', Drumsound & Bassline Smith's 'Crossfire' and Tantrum Desire's 'Reach' all get reconfigured to take heads off all over again. The bossmen have even resurrected their Future Tech moniker to give a 2019 upgrade to TECH 001.

And the array of remixers recruited take us all the way across the spectrum of contemporary drum 'n' bass. The likes of Bladerunner and Marky rub shoulders with AMC and The Prototypes...this album is as musically multi-faceted as it is star-studded. In summary, this is how to celebrate a birthday in style. Some of the biggest tracks from the back catalogue given the remix treatment by some of the biggest artists in the scene. Firing out of the blocks from the Playaz family comes Sub Zero's ‘Remixes EP', spinning a fresh take on the heavyweight tunes already loved by many. Sub Zero needing no introduction to Playaz fans having spent the best part of a decade smashing sets all over the world, lays solid foundations for what is sure to become one of the killer remix showcases of the year. To open Majistrate delivers his remix of Your Flex, hitting raves at the minute with an almighty thud. Run n Hide gets the Konichi treatment with two fat productions of rolling kicks and pounding low-end rhythms, whilst Supreme Being throws in a screaming rendition of Motion - a sure fire floorfiller. Bournemouth boy Krakota injects some soul into Brighter Days, eery vocals ring through to match a swelling bassline. Last but not least the unmistakable sampling of Dodge City receives the makeover treatment from Sub Zero himself with producer Jaydan in tow – capable of serious damage, with a breakdown set to crank any set up a notch.
