Rhadoo is one of the most important figures in Romanian minimal scene, as well as the underground scene. His DJ and production skills knows no boundaries. His style blends the old with the new, adding new elements to modern electronic music. In 2007, he founded the label [a:rpia:r] with his trusted friends Petre Inspirescu and Raresh. The label’s reputation grew rapidly worldwide and is now a solid platform for artists and music connoisseurs.

Creating worlds never seen before and the constant return to nature as the ultimate designer and source of inspiration are the prosperous obsessions shaping the artistic practice of Silviu Vișan a.k.a Dreamrec. Growing up around his artisan father who was building oversized toys for an amusement park turned into the perfect context to learn about the emotional experience of immersive environments and the secrets of morphing a place into an event. Not to mention it was the starting point for the self-thought wizard to try his hand at DIY magic either bringing joy or conjuring horror. Years later using videofeedback and layers of state-of-the-art software as tools to explore the unusual time&space where computers become genuinely unpredictable and the output becomes a fluid stream of pareidolia, Dreamrec is channeling in international festivals, clubs and art spaces his own visual aesthetic: immersive, mesmerizing and fictional as if visitors / partygoers physically stepped into another dimension. In anticipation of our next event at Shelter with Margaret Dygas, we would like to share with you a little nostalgia inducing souvenir from our previous event with Ricardo Villalobos. Our very own Reiss had the challenging task of setting the mood during the opening hours of night that so many were looking forward to. Slowly building up the vibe and tension in the room, while anticipation for the appearance of our guest of honour was gradually progressing towards its apex. Brother in beats Ferro upped the levels during his set and when Ricardo finally appeared in the booth, the energy in the room was electrifying before the man even played his first record. The rest is history.

Mysterious artist Viceversa is planning to release the seventh issue on his personal playground label which takes his name, part of a constantly growing personal serie. 

The EP will be out soon and again, the title is made by the combination of the two cryptic names of the tracks, which in this case are sixsixone and sixsixtwo.

Viceversa profile as a producer has grown from strength to strength in the recent years, with strong support by Raresh, Enzo Siragusa and more top-class artists. Catching an early interest in East End Dubs, his landing on EASTENDERZ with two releases (ENDZ017 and part of the VA of the ENDZ020 compilation) only accelerated a natural process which saw the producer to be in high demand, with his records often selling out really fast. From a DJ perspective, he already played important venues like Parker Lewis, confirming himself as an artist on the rise from the performance side as well.

The identity of the artist still remains obscure, and the mystery can only intrigue more given his unique dubby vibes.
