Originally hailing from Leipzig, East Germany, @Milium was one of the founders of Clear Memory in 2015. The party and festival provider turned record label, specializing in all things Electro with a certain taste for Industrial and beyond. 
His particular soft-spot for Italo is what he is showcasing in this issue of Italo Moderni.

IM #71 MIX: Milium

Finally it sees the light of day: a podcast by machine wizard Milium. One of Leipzigs finest producers under his Milium moniker, part of Dog Balls and as far as we can identify countless others in the consilium of Clear Memory. In our opinion the most powerful label our city has to offer nowadays. 

Sound- and musicwise Miliums productions and sets vary between his soft spot italo disco, wave and kind of industrial-cold machine music and of course electro. A mixture we take absolute pleasure in.

He describes the idea behind this mix as 'still no rave, here is rave in a box'. There‘ s nothing to add from our side to that. Imagine dancing to this mix if you´re able to remember what it means and feels to dance inside a maelstrom of lights, bodys and energy. We´re sure  this mix will help you bringing back the memory.

This is a recording of Kuno & Spaceinvasion, both labelheads and founders of their own imprint: Terminal Operations. 
They were closing the clubnight on the second day of the Krake Festival 2016 and this is what happened: A trackselection consisting of rough, dirty industrial- and electro-induced records melting together in 150 mins of mayhem.
Definitely one of the harder moments during our 2016 edition of Krake!

Being a hip hop-dancer since the age of ten, Dario Scarano alias KUNO got into djing at the age of sixteen and started producing music himself at the very young age of 18. Having started with mostly UK-bass music, he is now a badass dj with a very distinctive style somewhere between acid, techno & electro.

SPACEINVASION has got a punk and hardcore background and started to deal with electronic music in 2012. His sound as a dj and producer still bears that aesthetics and is driven by noisy lo-fi productions, dirty acid synthesizers and gritty electro. He is also co-founder of the music and art collective Abyss, which is showcasing djs, live acts, light- & video-artists on a regular base at ://about blank in Berlin.

In 2016 they joined the Killekill roster.

Signals 003 lands today via Pinkman in-store operative, Milium.

Hailing from the East German city of Leipzig, Milium found early inspiration in Grafitti movies, which helped lay the foundations of his deep love for electronic music. 

Recently serving some time as an intern at the Pinkman Store, Milium has appeared at various events in Rotterdam, as well as holding down frequent slots on Operator Radio. 

Back in Leipzig, he's involved with Clear Memory - a festival turned party turned record label. The imprint has contributions from the likes of Robyrt Hecht, the ever secretive En Direct and even Milium himself.

This hour sees him take us on a journey through his brand of twisted EBM, weirdo Electro and oddball Wave - with a heavy dose of eclecticism.
