The track is based around the vibe of that 2010s deep house style including the main phrase “Building sand castles in the rain yet my memories don’t fade” meaning that the author tries to forget the past yet it is really hard because some memories left scars so deep that they will stay as a reminder forever.

Burning Man has become one of my favorite places in the world. I love the freedom, the individual expression of everyone who attends, and I love giving the gift of music. A lot of people rave about the sunrises there, but I personally love the sunsets. Seeing the transition of day into night, watching the sun go down and all the lights of the playa come out, it brings me so much joy. I had such a blast performing this sunset set this year.
