Threateningly Upset

So I'm pretty excited to get into this thing called WeeklyBeats again. For those of you who don't know, WeeklyBeats is an online challenge for musical artists to publish one original track a week, and encourages users to listen to and comment on others' music submitted every week.  

I've got a few more tracks I'm currently working on, and I'm hoping my work'll be a lot more refined this time around.

Started this track in May for some reason, and have recently been inspired to finish it up. The bass line serves as the melody for this track, but let me know how well I did at that. The synth settings I used for it produce some unpredictable results sometimes.

Popular DJ/sound producer SCHROEDS from Los Angeles releases his fantastic UK Garage single 'Real Good' on Ulysse Records. Thick garage basses, a heart-grabbing piano and charismatic female vocals form together a real dance bomb for nightclubs and radio stations. Listening to this track, it is impossible to remain indifferent - your legs are trying to get off the ground and start dancing! Real Good! With a dance music career spanning 25 years, SCHROEDS brings his distinct flair to a fresh cohort of music enthusiasts. Commencing his journey in 1995 as a house music DJ in Cincinnati at 16, he rapidly showcased his adeptness. Taking the opener slot at the renowned Lift club, he shared the spotlight with luminaries like Felix the Housecat, Todd Terry, and Moodyman. His passion for dance music swiftly kindled his interest in production, leading him to collaborate with high school comrade Jeremy Zunk to create a live electronic performance. The duo, known as 'LP,' secured a record deal with Moonshine Records in 2001, unveiling a series of 12' singles. In 2002, together with Taylor Pakula, the trio solidified their presence in the Southwest rave scene, captivating audiences with dynamic live shows and DJ sets, sharing stages with artists like Rabbit in the Moon and DJ Magic Mike. Relocating to Los Angeles in 2005, SCHROEDS promptly engaged in production work for luminaries Paul Oakenfold and Adam Freeland. Under the alias 'The Fraction,' he delivered multiple singles on Perfecto during the late 2000s. Following a substantial hiatus from the dance music realm, a reinvigoration arrived through his tenure at Native Instruments and encounters with LA DJs Mary Droppinz, NAIAD, and Materielle. The vibrant LA Beat Scene further reignited his creativity through their famed cyphers and beat retreats. Presently, SCHROEDS crafts innovative tracks characterized by his unique style, collaborating closely with LA counterparts like NAIAD, Mary Droppinz, and Taylor Plenn. SCHROEDS has carved an impressive path, and with newfound supporters fanning the flames, he persists in igniting both music production and dance floors alike.
